Let's Rock Collection by Apaixonados por Rock'n'Roll vol.1

Confesso que tive um certo receio de fazer esse disco com a
participação do pessoal da comunidade no orkut Apaixonados por
Rock'n'Roll,por se tratar de um fórum muito grande e com uma galera bem
diversificada,e também pelos maus momentos que a comunidade passou há algum tempo.Mas meus receios mostraram-se infundados no período em que a coletânea foi colocada lá para os membros postarem suas sugestões...isso se deve muito ao bom trabalho que a galera da moderação(a quem agradeço desde já pelo espaço) tem feito naquela que é a maior comunidade em número de membros do orkut.Agora quanto a coletânea em sí,cujo o tema é o Hard dos anos 70,eu sou meio suspeito pra falar,pois essa pra mim é a grande fase do roquenroll...confiram aí vários ícones dessa época como Elf,Blue Öyster Cult,Aerosmith,The Who,Thin Lizzy,UFO e muito mais!!!

Blues Rock Collection

Blues-rock é um estilo musical híbrido que combina elementos do blues com rock and roll, enfatizando a guitarra elétrica. Começou a ser desenvolvido como um estilo distinto em meados da década de 1960 na Inglaterra e nos Estados Unidos com o trabalho de bandas como Cream e The Rolling Stones, bandas de rock que experimentavam a música de artistas de blues como Elmore James, Howlin' Wolf e Muddy Waters.O blues-rock é caracterizado pela improvisação e pelas sessões de jam, geralmente focando o guitarrista, com um som pesado e orientado ao riff. É também geralmente executado em um tempo alto, distinguindo-se do blues tradicional.

Rock Forever Collection vol.1

O que é precisamente um rock clássico? Aquele com riffs poderosos que ficam na memória ao longo dos tempos? Aquele com letras interessantes e que a gente nunca esquece?Ou pode ser considerado um clássico o que marcou nossa trajetória de vida, ou simplesmente a canção que mais gostamos?Foi baseado nessa última premissa que surgiu a idéia de Herman em fazer uma coletânea partindo de músicas indicadas por algumas pessoas de uma comunidade de rock(Rock and Roll Forever http://www.orkut.com/Community.aspx?cmm=11644965), com gostos muito diferentes, mas sempre bons; ou seja, um apanhado de clássicos sob a ótica de cada um, e desse modo deixamos o óbvio de lado para dar lugar, muitas vezes, ao inusitado.Foi possível assim, transitar com desenvoltura através do peso de um Black Sabbath até a delicadeza de um Pink Floyd, passando pelo engajamento de um Neil Young.Foi com esse espírito que nasceu esse disco e ele enseja novas possibilidades e novos arranjos mais adiante.Vale a pena conferir!
